New Inbound Quarantine Policy into Effect Today
After China updated its COVID-19 Prevention Plan to the 9th edition, Shanghai announced that as of June 30, the new inbound quarantine policy will go into effect.
At the same time, quarantine policy for close contacts of COVID-19 cases is also halved.

Last night, Shanghai Release (Shanghai Fabu) announced that the new quarantine policy for overseas arrivals and other cases listed below will be effective from June 30.
Overseas arrivals: 7-day centralized quarantine plus 3-day health monitoring at home
Close Contacts: 7-day centralized quarantine plus 3-day health monitoring at home
Secondary close contacts: 7-day quarantine at home
Arrivals from high-risk areas: 7-day centralized quarantine
Arrivals from mid-risk areas: 7-day quarantine at home
Arrivals from low-risk areas: 2 PCR tests in 3 days
